Wedding Weekend
And they celebrated for three days...
Welcome to our wedding site! Our greatest wish is to share our wedding day and weekend with our family and friends. For those who wish, the celebration starts on Friday and ends on Sunday with a communal breakfast. The party will take place at Vidbynäs Gård, where there is also accommodation available for those who will be staying the entire weekend. Rooms have been reserved for our guests up to 3 months before the wedding. After that, the rooms are open for booking by others.
Day 1 - Friday
Communal Dinner
At 6 pm
We would love to spend as much time as possible with all of you! For those of you who are able to arrive on Friday, we would like to invite you to dinner at 6 pm.
Relax & Bath
At 8 pm
In the evening, the hotel's relaxation area with sauna and wood-fired hot tub will be reserved for us. Don't forget your swimwear!
Day 2 - Wedding Day
Breakfast
From 7 am
For those of you who have checked in on Friday, breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am.
Lunch
From 11:30 am
We are arranging lunch in form of wraps for all guests, even for those of you who are arriving on Saturday if you wish. It can be picked up from 11.30 am in the restaurant.
Ceremony
At 1 pm
The ceremony takes place at 1 pm in Turinge Church, which is about 1 km from Vidbynäs Gård where we are staying. We do not arrange transport, you will hopefully get to enjoy a sunny walk ☀️
Cake
At 3:30 pm
After the ceremony, there will be time for mingle before we gather at 3:30 pm to fill our bellies with cake, coffee, and sparkling wine. You read right, the cake is eaten before dinner when we are a bit hungry and it's at its tastiest.
Dinner
At 6 pm
Around six o'clock we'll take a seat to enjoy a three-course dinner with drinks.
Party!
At 9 pm
After the dinner, the celebration continues with a party on the second floor of the manor, the party goes on until 1 o'clock at the latest. We will offer snacks during the evening, as well as a late-night meal!
Day 3 - Sunday
Communal Breakfast

We conclude the weekend with a communal breakfast at 9 am (it opens at 7 am already for the early birds).
Check-out
No later than 12 pm
Check-out from the hotel takes place no later than 12 pm on Sunday.
Getting there
Turinge Church is a church building that is part of the Turinge-Taxinge parish in Södertälje contract in Strängnäs diocese. The church is located in Nykvarn municipality, between Södertälje and Strängnäs. The oldest parts of the church were built in the 12th century. The church hill is one of the best preserved in Södermanland with houses and sheds from the 18th and 19th centuries. Turinge Church is best known for the baroque burial chapel that Erik Dahlbergh designed and had built for himself in the 1680s.

There are two things you need to consider. You need to RSVP for the wedding and you need to book rooms for yourself if desired. This needs to be done by the latest on Jan 27, 2024.

To make this day the best possible we have fantastic help from our wedding party. Thomas and Linda stand by our side as best man and bridesmaid. Our hosts Fredrik and Peter will lead us through the day and help us be in the right place at the right time. At dinner, our Toastmasters Isabel and Gustav will take over and give us a dinner to remember.

The actual wedding day is April 27, 2024. But you are invited the day before, Friday the 26th of April, to stay with us at Vidbynäs Gård. Then we go home on Sunday, the 28th of April. Addresses and maps can be found above under the heading Find Us.
We will have a professional photographer and filmmaker during the ceremony and the party. We expect to capture all our guests on picture, preferably from your best side. During the ceremony and directly after we would like you not to photograph or film, as the photographer's pictures aren't as nice if we stand with mobile phones or cameras out. Let the professionals handle it and we will share them with you ❤️. During the party and the rest of the weekend, of course, you are welcome to photograph and film as much as you want.
Our highest wish is to create an unforgettable day, evening and night together with you! If you want to offer a speech, spex or other fun, it must be reported to our Toastmadame and Toastmaster in good time, so they can plan the evening's program. RSVP should be done by no later than January 27, 2024, the same day that you must book a room if you wish to do so. Sista anmälningsdag har redan passerat!.
We do not wish for any wedding gifts. Really! The best gift is your participation and making the weekend the best possible!
On the wedding day the dress code is "Dark suit", but with a more relaxed interpretation, meaning you should dress in the suit or dress that you are most comfortable in and feel dressed up in. On Friday, the groom will be dressed in a suit all day because it looks so nice 🕺. Please join in, otherwise, the dress code for Friday is "Jacket". On Sunday, cozy clothes are encouraged. 🤗
All children are welcome! For us adults to be able to enjoy the day and evening as much as possible, there will be babysitters on site to help hang out with and entertain our little ones. They will have their own room right next to us during the dinner. Childcare will be available from when we return from the ceremony on Saturday.
It's approximately 700 meters (0.43 miles) from Vidbynäs Gård to Turinge Church. If the weather is nice, we can walk. If the weather gods aren't with us, we'll sort it out on the spot. There's always someone with a car who can shuttle.
